Malcolm Wardlaw has enjoyed painting for most of his life, however, since returning to the U.K. after spending over twenty years overseas, he has been able to spend more time concentrating on art. In particular he enjoys painting wildlife, aircraft, seascapes, landscapes and animals.
He has become a successful and respected artist with paintings accepted for number of exhibitions. He has had aircraft paintings exhibited in the Guild of Aviation Artists annual exhibition at the Mall Gallery, Guild of Aviation Artists Exhibition, Coventry Air Museum and exhibitions at RAF Cosford Museum. His wildlife paintings have been accepted at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Wild About Art in the Winter Gardens, Sheffield and Banham Zoo. Other exhibitions have included Auscoughfee Hall, Spalding and Stamford Art Centre and the Institute of East Anglian Artists open exhibition at Picturecraft Gallery Holt, Norfolk. He won the ‘Lincolnshire Life’ Art Competition in 2008 and the Wooton Prize for aircraft painting in 2010, he has paintings in private collections worldwide.
